Under the patronage of H.E. Mr. Shadi Al-Majali, Chief Commissioner of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, the third edition of the Ayla Marina Boat Show was officially inaugurated. The event was hosted by Ayla and took place on Friday and Saturday, May 23 and 24, 2025, with the attendance of Eng. Sahl Dudin, Managing Director of Ayla Oasis Development Company, along with various officials and experts in the tourism and maritime sectors.
The exhibition brought together key players in maritime services, logistics, equipment, and financing to explore partnerships and promising opportunities in this rapidly growing sector, aiming to strengthen Aqaba’s position as a global destination for boating services on the Red Sea.
On this occasion, Eng. Sahl Dudin, Managing Director of Ayla Oasis Development Company, stated: “We are proud of this third and exceptional edition of the exhibition, which has firmly established itself on the calendar of regional maritime service events. With our strong commitment to hosting it annually, the Ayla Marina Boat Show 2025 served as a platform to support the sector and showcase the latest in marine innovations.”
Dudin emphasized Ayla’s commitment to institutionalizing the Ayla Marina Boat Show as a recurring event, especially given the sector’s growing interest and the strong turnout it attracted. The wide range of boats, yachts, services, and equipment on display drew professionals and the general public alike, further contributing to Ayla’s tourism promotion efforts and enriching the calendar of major events it organizes.
The exhibition stood out for its range of family-oriented, educational, and entertainment activities. These included free boat rides for visitors, hands-on experiences with newly launched boat models making their debut in Jordan, and virtual reality experiences showcasing marine life and diving environments. Family-friendly attractions added excitement and charm to the event, underscoring Ayla Marina’s commitment to offering a comprehensive experience that blends entertainment, education, and innovation.
The Ayla Marina Boat Show served as a link between boat owners and service providers on one hand, and potential buyers on the other—adding momentum to this promising market and encouraging businesses and individuals alike to explore the marine lifestyle. The event also aimed to raise awareness about maritime culture, environmental responsibility, and marine safety in an engaging and interactive way.
The show also reaffirmed Ayla’s dedication to excellence. Ayla Marina recently earned the prestigious Gold Anchor Award, the Clean Marina Accreditation, and the Blue Flag, a global recognition of its commitment to environmental sustainability, safety, and delivering an outstanding visitor experience. These distinctions solidify Aqaba’s reputation as a world-class maritime destination and highlight its role as a premier tourism and economic hub in the region.
The Ayla Marina Boat Show reflected Ayla’s long-term strategy to boost tourism and strengthen Jordan’s maritime service industry. Over the course of two days, it brought together boating and yachting enthusiasts with leaders in logistics, suppliers, and financial institutions, offering a unique opportunity to explore the latest industry developments, forge partnerships, establish marketing deals, and examine ways to enrich the marine, tourism, and related service sectors in Aqaba.
