Server is a commercial aviation expert and a tourism professional that has extensive experience in setting and executing strategies related to sales, marketing, and network planning and revenue management.
Prior to joining Royal Jordanian Mr. Aydin served as the Chief Commercial Officer for Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines Joint venture airline SunExpress where he also served as the Managing Director for the airlines Subsidiary SunExpress Germany.
Aydin has a diploma in Management Science from the University of Kent in London U.K. he has earned a bachelor degree in Commerce Management and Marketing from Deakin University in Australia in 1997.
Aydin began his professional career as Commercial Manager responsible for retail and aviation revenues at Fraport Antalya Airport between 2001 and 2003.
He later joined the Turkish Airlines where he held various positions between 2003 and 2008.
Aydin served as the Director for the Scandinavian Countries, Regional Director for west Europe and Africa. His latest position in the airline was the Vice President of Ground Operations; responsible for Turkish Airlines ground operations across their network.
Between 2008 and 2012, Aydin held the position of Chief Commercial Officer of Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International Airport where he obtained the best-marketed airport of the year award three times in a row. He was successful in constructing and implementing a commercial strategy for the airport together with a number of airlines to maximize traffic and upgrade the airport’s services offered to operators.
