On Friday, November 8, Ayla will proudly host the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup, the largest global amateur golf tournament series. For the first time, a qualifying round of the tournament will be held in Aqaba at the Ayla Golf Club, attracting participants from around the world. Winners from 118 qualifying rounds across 67 countries—including the Ayla event—will advance to the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup Finals, set to take place in December.
Commenting on the event, Ayla Oasis Golf Club Managing director, Sahl Dudin, said: “We are thrilled to host this prestigious tournament in collaboration with Turkish Airlines, underscoring Ayla’s growing reputation as a prime destination for global golf events and as a hub for both professional and amateur golfers from the region and beyond.”
Dudin emphasized Ayla’s preparedness for the tournament, highlighting its role in showcasing the skills of amateur golfers worldwide, fostering a new generation of top professionals, and providing thrilling, high-level competition in both qualifying and final rounds. He extended his best wishes for a successful and memorable tournament to all participants.
Winners of the Ayla round will secure a place in the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup Finals.
Ayla was chosen as a host venue for its high standards in quality and performance, with Ayla Golf Club consistently recognized with global awards for its design, quality, and commitment to sustainability. Designed by Greg Norman, Ayla’s 18-hole course is Jordan’s first championship golf course.

Winners from the 118 qualifying rounds held in 67 countries will advance to the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup Finals in December, held at the Gloria Serenity Resort in Antalya, Turkey.
Ayla has become a premier destination for major golf events, having previously hosted the Ayla Mixed Golf Championship—the first of its kind globally—and the “Journey to Jordan” MENA Tour. Ayla’s award-winning golf course spans 800,000 square meters, featuring rolling green fairways, crystal-clear lakes, notable elevation changes, and strategically placed holes offering a unique playing experience.
