Under the patronage of ASEZA’s Chief of Commissioners HE Nayef Bakheet and with the presence of Director of the Directorate of the Social Development in Aqaba Mohammad Tawara, and Ayla’s Managing Director Sahl Dudin, Ayla held a ceremony, for the ninth year in a row, to honor women from the local community on the occasion of Mother’s Day and International Women’s Day.
Ayla chose to honor 25 women with “challenge and success” stories from a number of Associations in Aqaba, in recognition of their success in facing all kinds of challenges and raising their children without a provider’s support and continuing with their education until they have received university degrees.
For nine years, as part of its social responsibility, Ayla has honored outstanding women in various sectors as an appreciation of their efforts, contribution to society and to motivate them to continue this approach to become a beacon for many women in the society.
Ayla’s Managing Director, Sahl Dudin congratulated the honored women on Mother’s Day and Women’s Day saying, “This ceremony is an expression of our appreciation and gratitude to all these women who continue to give and make sacrifices for their children with no support.”
Dudin added that the women honored were chosen from charitable associations and organizations after learning about the stories and challenges they overcame to make their children happy and provide them with a decent and comfortable life.
In recognition of ideal supporting mothers, Bakheet, Dudin, and Tawara distributed the gifts presented by Ayla.
For his part, the Director of the Directorate of Social Development in Aqaba, Mohammad Tawara praised Ayla’s efforts and its approach to reach the local community’s needs in its several sectors through Ayla’s annual campaigns and its continuous coordination with the Directorate of Social Development and the Associations in Aqaba to achieve a decent life for individuals in a healthy environment.
